Privacy policy

The short version
Ringmogul has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or any other personal information. Your fighter, your career and your league are saved on your device only.
The app has no ads and no ad networks. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.
Your save stays on your device
Your game is stored in the app's own storage on your iPhone or iPad. It is not uploaded to us, and there is no cloud save. Deleting the app deletes your save.
What is collected, and by whom
- A random ID. On first launch the app creates a random identifier on your device. It is not your name, email, Apple ID, or Apple's advertising identifier, and it is not linked to your identity. It is used only by the two services below.
- Gameplay analytics (PostHog). If analytics is enabled in the build, the app sends PostHog events such as "fight finished" (win or loss, method, round), "paywall shown", "purchase" (which product) or "notifications turned on", together with the random ID. PostHog's software also attaches technical details: device model, iOS version, app version, language, time zone and screen size. We use this only to see where the game is too hard, too easy or confusing. The app never sends names or text you type: if you give your fighter a nickname, only the fact that you did is recorded, not the nickname. - Purchases (Apple and RevenueCat). Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to check which purchases are active, to add Gold or Rewinds you bought, and to restore purchases. Game Center (optional)
If you are signed in to Game Center, achievements and leaderboard scores are sent to Apple's Game Center. If you send a friend challenge, the app sends your fighter (the names you gave it in the game, its stats, look and record) and a fight seed to the friend you choose, through Apple's Game Center; your friend's fighter and the result come back the same way. These go through Apple only; we do not run a server and do not receive them. Game Center is governed by Apple's privacy policy. You can play without Game Center.
On your device only
- Announcer. The fight announcer's calls are audio clips bundled inside the app (made with the open Kokoro-82M voice model); playing them uses no network and no personal data, and nothing is recorded. The fight commentary is text on screen. You can turn the announcer off in Settings.
- Notifications. Notifications are off unless you allow them. When the app asks, it says that they include game reminders (daily challenge, streak, fights, rewards, rivals) and offers and sales from the in-app shop. They are local notifications scheduled on your device from your saved game: up to four a day, never between 10 pm and 9 am. You can switch off each kind, including offers, or all of them, in Settings → Notifications. The app does not use push notifications and sends no notification token to anyone.
- Sound and haptics run on your device.
What is not collected
No name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, location, browsing history, health data or advertising identifier. There is no tracking and the app does not ask for tracking permission. We do not sell data.
Children
Ringmogul is rated 12+ and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Keeping and deleting data
Deleting the app deletes your save and the random ID. Analytics events are kept only as long as useful for improving the game. To ask us to delete the analytics or purchase records tied to your random ID, email us; because the ID is random and not linked to you, we may ask for details such as the date and product of a purchase so we can find the right records. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, Brazil under the LGPD, or California) you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data; email us and we will help.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
